Title: unique

"Could you tell me your unique selling point?" That was the question posed to me during a time when life felt its most uncertain in every aspect. I was taken aback by it. It felt far deeper than what it seemed on the surface. I guess I felt the question viscerally, as though it were asking me: What is it about my existence that makes me unique? What is it about my journey that stands apart? What lessons have I learned that are so special they’re worth sharing?

My answer was, simply, "I don’t know." At first, it felt inadequate, as though I was failing to rise to the challenge of defining myself. But as time passed, I realised something profound: the journey of life itself is about discovering what makes us unique. Our experiences allow us to find and honour the "special" within our paths.

Unique means "being the only one of its kind; unlike anything else." And yet, dare I say, our individual experiences in life may not be unique in isolation but it’s the sum of them, the way they blend together to form who we are, that makes each of us entirely one of a kind. It’s like the genetic makeup of our existence the accumulation of experiences that shape us into someone utterly distinct.

So I suppose my answer remains the same: You may not know your unique selling point yet, because you’re still experiencing life. But I believe that one day you’ll find it. And you know what? That’s okay. For now, be content to keep exploring, learning, and growing into the person you’re meant to be. That, in itself, is special.

Be You. Be Whole.
